This book is a collection of stories based on actual Egyptian facts.
In the first one a band of tomb robbers set their sights on Tutankhamen's tomb. During their getaway they are caught by the captain of the place guard.
In the next one, a young mummy maker saves a cat from death. Also she manages convince her brother that she is a magician.
In the third story, a poor trainee scribe becomes a ghost hunter and manages to buy his dad a new fishing boat.
In the final story, the builders of the Great Pyramid rebel against a cruel overseer  who almost dies.
I would recommend this book to children at the age of 9 - 11.
I rate this book 3 stars.
