The circus show

The lights flash,
As the acrobats jump,
They soar across the tent,
But one starts to descent!

His rope has snapped,
Oh no, what to do?
But another rope comes,
It was all part of the act.

Now a clown enters too,
And steals the show,
With his bright red nose,
And that colourful dress,
And a great, wide grin,
at haunts you in the night.

He starts to juggle,
1, 2, 3,
Now 4,
Then 5,
I’m not sure how he does it,
Entirely.

It is almost the end,
The clown dances off,
The Acrobats leap,
And the animals are doffed.

The ringmaster steps up,
And thanks us all,
It is time to go,
But I want to see, another show!
